last night, mitt romney won the most states and extended his overall delegate lead to more than 200, but the bottom line is that he has not locked up the nomination, is he becoming a stronger candidate or a weaker one? folks? my thinking here is that this could be a pivot point for the team romney, not just going back to the lab but refining a message, making him a stronger candidate, there's a contention out there that he has been bloodied and bruised but this could be good. >> i'm feeing like we have read that and said that five or six times eer already. the question was would newt gingrich make him a better candidate. so far, i've not seen what we have seen in the democratic race as hillary and obama duked it out. obama ended up being a stronger candida candidate, but along with that we saw turn out and excitement in the democratic party only to up, which helped in the general. on the republican side excitement going down and turnout going down, so for the general it looks like there's going to be more fracturing. >> maybe, john, it takes longer for the message to set in for team
